Aknaysan

The House

Brass, waterand patience.

Every Aknaysan faucet begins as a solid billet of low-lead brass, gravity cast and machined to tolerances measured in hundredths of a millimetre. Every closet and basin is vitrified ceramic, fired once and glazed to a deep gloss.

The finishing hall is the slowest room in the building. Chrome takes eleven stages; bronze and copper are drawn by hand and sealed under a clear PVD coat so the colour does not wander over the years. Each single-lever cartridge is cycled two hundred thousand times before it is approved for the catalogue.

What you see in this catalogue is what arrives on site — the same spout radius drawn in the elevation, the same white you approved on the sample board.
